Linda Scheller is a California San Joaquin Valley poet, playwright, book reviewer, and writing teacher. Her work is published in Slipstream, Colorado Review, Terrain, Hawai'i Pacific Review, Poetry East, Notre Dame Review, and elsewhere. A founding board member and vice president of Modesto-Stanislaus (MoSt) Poetry Center, she facilitates writing workshops, manages membership, and generates publicity. She's letters chair of National League of American Pen Women's Modesto branch and produces two programs for KCBP Community Radio. In 2017, her poetry collection Fierce Light was pubished by FutureCycle Press, followed by Wind & Children, published by Main Street Rag in 2022. Two new books are forthcoming: Laurels from Prickly Pear Publishing, and The Ghosts of 16 Larkin Street from The Word Works.
